Position Summary

Reporting to the Head of Content, the Director, Creative Content Production is responsible for producing visual brand assets (stills and moving image) across new campaigns and core, as well as Westman Atelier social channels. This role reports directly to the Head of Content. This position plays a crucial role in shaping and delivering engaging content that aligns with the Westman Atelier brand and business objectives. Ideal candidates for the Director, Creative Content Production will have a strong background in creative production, and be experienced working with a variety of creative professionals. This role reports directly to the Head of Content.

Responsibilities:

  • Ideate, execute and deliver Westman Atelier brand content (video and photo) across digital, marketing, social and retail.
  • End to end ownership of all model shoots including casting, photo booking and production including campaigns, PDP, product launches, and social. 
  • Partner with external Creative Director to execute campaign shoots and receive sign off from founders and CMO. 
  • End to end ownership of PDP model shoots including casting, photo booking, production, post pro, etc
  • Pitch ideas and liaise directly with brand founders and CMO to discuss visual concepts and direction for all photo shoots outside of campaign for sign off.
  • Research and outreach to new talent (directors, photographers, stylists, set designers, etc) for photo, video and casting.  
  • Storyboard, cast, and produce in house editorial content and special projects inclusive of Gucci content to drive engagement, brand and revenue. 
  • Strategize community & content programs in collaboration with social team to drive growth across social channels, with an emphasis on Tik Tok,  while maintaining luxury brand DNA and best practices.  
  • Ensure balance of low fi and high fi content responding to trends and channel performance  while maintaining brand guidelines
  • Oversee and liaise with Post Production Manager on all aspects of post including photo and video editing, retouching and communicating with art and store design teams for final layouts
  • Oversee and negotiate content team annual photo and video budgets, usage rights and contracts with agencies, and invoicing.
  • Manage Creative Producer on execution of photo and video projects for various brand departments including marketing, sales, digital and social
  • Present annual photo shoot budget to CMO

Requirements:

  • 7+ years experience in a creative production role
  • Highly organized individual
  • Understanding of asset and video best practices across the digital and print brand space

  • Strong brand understanding and taste level
  • Prior luxury and beauty experience preferred
