Position Summary

The Global Inventory Analyst will play a critical role in optimizing Westman Atelier’s inventory performance. This position will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing and reporting on inventory levels, trends, and projections, and will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to improve inventory management processes, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency. This role reports to the VP of Global Supply Chain.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance existing processes and systems related to both finished goods and materials inventory management and reconciliation.
  • Analyze finished goods and material inventory performance metrics, including product turnover and days of supply across all inventory locations. 
  • Partner with the Global Business Planning team to forecast demand and develop inventory plans that meet business needs.
  • Monitor inventory levels, execute inter-warehouse transfers, and proactively address potential stock imbalances.
  • Investigate and recommend solutions to inventory-related issues, including cycle counts and year-end physical inventory reconciliation.
  • Develop and distribute regular finished goods and materials inventory reports to management on a regular basis.  
  • Identify excess and obsolete inventory for appropriate action (use up or disposition).
  • Export and analyze data for the material procurement model, providing insights to the  Supply Chain team.
  • Leverage data manipulation skills to extract, clean, and transform inventory data for analysis and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in inventory analysis, operations or related field.
  • Affinity for number, attention to detail and investigative curiosity
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel and able to work within our existing inventory management software and manual spreadsheets.
  • Excellent technical data manipulation and  problem-solving skills
  • Strong analytical, communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and present analyses + recommendations clearly and persuasively
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast paced environment
Westman Atelier offers a holistic total compensation package designed to support employees in all aspects of life, including a robust suite of health benefits, wellness perks, 401k, and paid parental leave. The base salary for this position will range from $90,000- $110,000. Exact compensation may vary based on job related skills, experience, and location.
