Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Planner to join our Global Business Planning team, reporting to the VP. In this collaborative role, you will contribute to the development of strategic business plans, working cross-functionally to gather data, conduct analysis, and present actionable insights. Responsibilities:
- Support the development and execution of strategic plans to drive brand growth and market expansion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure planning initiatives align with brand objectives.
- Support the Global Planning team in ensuring the execution of these plans across different business functions.
- Support the demand forecasting process by collecting and analyzing sales trends and market data.
- Help create and maintain inventory strategies to ensure optimal product availability.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in minimizing excess stock while ensuring sufficient product availability to meet demand.
- Aid in the planning and coordination of new product launches, ensuring timelines are met, and resources are allocated efficiently.
- Help track and update launch calendars and timelines, ensuring successful execution.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth product introductions and assist in any required documentation or tracking.
- Work closely with marketing, sales, product development, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth execution of planning initiatives.
- Participate in regular meetings and communicate updates to key stakeholders regarding planning activities.
- Help gather and analyze market insights, including competitor research, to support planning efforts.
- Assist in identifying potential trends, opportunities, and areas for differentiation.
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Global Planning team, ensuring deadlines are met, and documents are organized.
- Track and manage project timelines, ensuring that key deliverables are completed on time.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management.
- 3-5 years of experience in a planning, demand forecasting, or related role (cosmetics or beauty industry experience is a plus).
- Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data from various sources to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Strong proficiency in Excel or other data management tools (e.g., ERP systems, budgeting software, forecasting tools)
- Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
